A Tres Voces for string trio was written in 2012, commissioned by Clarion Concerts to honor Sanford Allen's 15 years as music director. It contains passages that are at once dreamy, harrowing, curious, and taut. It provides a stunning platform for each musician to demonstrate both individual prowess and a role as part of a unified force.
